Aimee dons two different, yet both lovely, looks
Star of Friday Night Lights and Disney’s PROM.
Why do we love her this week?
She’s landed a role in a new show called The Selection, described as a futuristic love story. It sounds faintly familiar to anyone who’s read The Hunger Games! Based on the book by Kiera Cass (out on April 24 – new obsession?), it sees the main character being picked from a lottery (ahem, reaping) to ‘participate in a competition to become the next queen of a war-torn nation at a crossroads’.
Where and when can we see her next?
Aside from in The Selection (on The CW), which is being written and produced by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain, who developed The Vampire Diaries, she has a few projects lined up. She completed filming of AWOL, which sees her starring alongside Liam Hemsworth (another Hunger Games link!), and it’s scheduled for release this year. There are also the rumours of a Friday Night Lights movie, will she appear? If you still want more, buy the boxsets of FNL or Aim High. Or PROM!
She wants to kill somebody. Or be killed. Kind of.
(On her career goals) ‘I want to do a horror film where I either get to kill somebody or be killed. That’s definitely on my top priorities.’
I had never even heard of Peter Berg before the second audition, and he was there, and I had learned all my lines and I was excited, and then he was like, ‘So, what really pisses you off these days?’ And I was like, ‘Um, excuse me?’ He’s like, ‘What gets under your skin and pisses you off?’ And I’m like, ‘Uh, gas prices.’ Everybody can relate to gas prices.
