GRAMMY Award-winning country musician, who won the fourth season of American Idol. Some of her hits include Before He Cheats (my personal favourite!), So Small and I Told You So.
Why do we love her this week?
She visited London this week (finally!) to promote her latest album, which came on on June 18. She hosted a private and strictly invitation only playback for the album, Blown Away, at The Arts Club on Tuesday and appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday, as well as doing an album signing at HMV in London. Of course, not forgetting her first ever UK show was last night at the Royal Albert Hall. Loving the UK Carrie time!
Where and when can we see/hear her next?
She’s currently touring worldwide, so no matter where you are, you can find her! She performs in Los Angeles on October 16 and New York on December 4. Her fifth studio album is out now, so what are you doing? Go out and buy it! She also appeared in the film Soul Surfer, alongside the new Carrie Bradshaw AnnaSophia Robb, which makes a great DVD watch.

Before American Idol (which she won in 2005), Carrie had never been on a plane.
